Beach Life Floors timber deck restoration process:
- Punch all protruding nails
- Sand deck back to natural timber colour leaving deck flat and removing all existing coatings
- Using a Polyvac (a circular sander/polisher with a fine sanding pad) we close up the timber grain helping with water resistance
- Apply 3 coats of our favoured water base decking oil
The triple guard formula offers
- U.V. PROTECTION - Formulated with special U.V. shielding pigments to minimise the effect of the harmful rays,
highlights and protects natural the natural colour of your timber, helping prevent greying, weathering and surface degradation
- HIGH DURABILITY - The superior oil enriched formula gives a tough, long wearing finish with extended time between recoating.
Will not crack blister or peel.
- WATER REPELLENCY - The formula penetrates timber and forms a water repellent barrier. It improves resistance to mould, mildew, fungi and minimises cracking and splitting of the timber.
(note) - There are many highly effective products available for timber deck protection on the market and ultimately we will be directed by you, our client.
